Moms Night Out!

Please mark your calendars for a “Moms Night Out” on November 15th from 6:30-8pm in the cafe. Babysitting is free so you can do some early holiday shopping and visit with friends! Tastefully Simple, Stampin’ Up, Thirty-one Bags, Scentsy, Pampered Cheft, Premier Designs Jewelry, Miche and more!

1) Team Shirts-  Yes they are coming !!  Expected delivery is on or about 9/15

2) Health Screening Volunteers-  We need your help on On Sept 18-Sept 20th.  Several timeslots are available.  Please contact Nancy Wible nancyw7739@gmail.com if you are able to lend an hour or two of your time.

3)Horseshoes-  You know those engraved horseshoes you see outside your teacher’s classroom, there is still time to order one!  Go to www.htesparent.com/store  to order!  $35 for a black horseshoe with your child’s name hung outside the classroom of your choice and $50 for a gold horseshoe hung in the front office.

4)School Directories-  A HTES “must have” !  Great for planning parties, playdates and for checking that mother’s name you just can’t remember.  If you have a business you would like to advertise, please let us know or order on www.htesparents.com/store

5) Ice Cream Social at Cherry on Top- Thurs Sept 13th 3pm-9pm  We’re sure your kids will remind you 100 times since ice cream is involved but just in case…come join us  and enjoy some frozen yogurt before the temperatures cool off to a chilly 90 degrees.

6) Calling all Boy Scouts….Pack 603 is looking for a few good 1st to 5th graders.  Infomational meeting on Sept 10th. Click her e for details  CubScoutPack603_Fall2012

7) Parent Drop off volunteers- Imagine how crazy drop off and pick up would be without our volunteers.  We need your help to make this process as smooth and safe as possible.  If you can help, please contact us info@htesparents.com

8) Marquee sign messages-  Want to see your child’s name in lights?  You can purchase a message for $10.  See Becky in the front office to get you message on our marquee sign.

And last but not least…Horseshoe Trails PTO is now on FACEBOOK!  WHOO HOO!!  We know that most of you are never on FB but if you are please “like us” !

Cactus Shadows High School PTO is hosting a district-wide ‘Welcome Back To School Barbeque’ on August 17, 2012 at the Buffalo Chip Saloon and Steakhouse.  All district families are invited to attend!  Please visit the  Falcon Famlies website for more information and to order tickets!  Tickets are $10/adult and $8/child (12 and under).  Please join us for this fun community event!

See you all on New Year’s Eve!  If you ordered a class shirt, please bring your receipt with you!

To order, simply go to http://www.edukitinc.com/page.asp?id=15&schoolid=1062  by May 31st.  You will order your kit based on your child’s grade level next year, and pay online through EduKit’s secure website.  Your child’s EduKit will be in their classroom at the back to school night (New Years Eve) in August so no more lugging those reams of paper to the classroom!
