Corrie Coleman | Co-President

HI! This is the first year I will only have one kiddo on campus…Jakob is in 5th Grade and my oldest Micah is headed to 7th Grade at Sonoran Trails. This is our eighth year at HTES and my fourth year on the PTO Board. I have volunteered as a room parent each year, as well as in the Stallion Strides Horsemanship program for the past 6 years. I am super excited to get to know all the Stallion families and help make this year amazing for all the kiddos.

Amanda Schmidt | Co-President

Hello from the Schmidt fam! Our chickadees are in 2nd (Olive) and 4th (Emery) this year and we couldn’t love our school more. We are a proud Stallion family and love giving back however we can- I’ve been a room parent, a mini museum volunteer, helped with the garden and ive served on the board for a few years now in various capacities. Our family lives for the outdoors and being active - we hope to see you on campus or on the trails soon!

Brie Hill | Co-Vice President & Social Media Coordinator

Hi, my name is Brie Hill and I will be one of your co-vice presidents this year. This will be my second year on the board. I have been married to my wonderful husband, Aaron, for 10 years! We have 2 kiddos, Aubrey who is in 6th grade and Caiden is in 1st grade. I love spending time outside, watching my kids play the sports they love, working out and reading! I am very excited for the year ahead!

Chrissy Vasta | Co-Vice President & Room Parent Liaison

Hi! My name is Chrissy and this is our 4th year at HTES. Our family moved to Cave Creek from Chicago in July of 2021 and I joined the PTO right away as room parent, Birthday Book Club volunteer and Room Parent Liaison. I met so many amazing parents this way. This year I am the Co-Vice President and also Room Parent liaison. I have 3 daughters; my oldest daughter is a 6th grader at HTES. I love spending time with my family and friends, running, traveling and seeing live music. Looking forward to a great year!

Angie Whatley | Treasurer & Website

I’m Angie Whatley, Treasurer & Website. Married to Jeremy, mom to Nate (7th grade at STMS) and Jackson (4th grade). As a family, we love hockey, a good beach trip, and family game nights. This is our eighth year at HTES! I joined the PTO because I wanted to be more involved after covid. I started by going to the meetings and then volunteering for the events my kids wanted to go to.

Amanda Dahl | Secretary

Hey there- I’m Amanda Dahl, Secretary. My husband Brandon and I have 2 wonderful redheads- Asher (5th grade) and Maggie (3rd grade). This is my third year on the PTO Board, yet, I’ve been involved as a room parent for 4 years. I’ve formed many close friendships through working with groups of room parents- I’d highly recommend it! I’m looking forward to an amazing year, and our family is proud to be Stallion Strong!

Jillian Darnell | Co-Spirit Night Chair

I am excited to serve as one of the Spirit Night Coordinators for the HTES PTO. My husband Matt and our 2 boys Elliott (2nd grade) and Graham (Kinder) moved from Pittsburgh, PA two years ago. We enjoy exploring all Arizona has to offer. Some of my favorite activities include trail running, strength training, cycling, hiking, yoga, helping Matt with our home improvements, and trying new healthy recipes.

Shayna Washut | Co-Spirit Night Chair & Birthday Book Club Coordinator

My name is Shayna Washut - My husband, Zach, and I have been married for 10 years and have two kids: Ryder (7) in 2nd grade and Hudson (2). We love to spend time outdoors, go on family adventures and attend local sporting events. We are passionate about supporting the community, and being involved as much as possible in support of all our kiddos. This is my second year as a member of the PTO Board, and I am excited for another amazing year!

Bridget Decker | Co-Horseshoe Crew Coordinator & Class Fund Treasurer

Hi, I’m Bridget, a proud HTES mom of two 4th graders, Liam and Emma, who have been Stallions since they were 3 years old! I have been a Room mom and a Horsemanship volunteer but this is my first year on the PTO. I am excited to work alongside my Co-Horseshoe Crew coordinator and our HTES Room parents to celebrate our wonderful teachers and ensure that our kids have a truly special school year!

Stefanie Liberatore | Co-Horseshoe Crew Coordinator

Hey! I’m Stefanie and I have two kids here at HTES- Brooklynn (6th grade) and Tyler (5th grade). This is my fourth year on PTO and I’ve also enjoyed volunteering with Mini Museum, Garden and as a Room Parent. I’ve loved being involved at HTES. I couldn’t have asked for a better elementary experience for my kids. Our family enjoys traveling, RVing and watching soccer games and theater performances!

Joe Hernandez | Garden

My name is Joe Hernandez. I will be working in the gardens this year with the kids and helping out any other way I can. This is my second year with the PTO, but I have been helping with the gardens for the previous three years. My son Ben has been attending Horseshoe Trails since Preschool and is headed into 2^nd grade this year.

My wife Amanda and I are AZ natives and we moved to the Cave Creek area back in 2019. Our family welcomed our second son Callan into the world in February of 2024. Another future Stallion! We are excited to be part of such a great school and community and are looking forward to another great year!

Kimberly Lubell | Co-Mini Museum

My name is Kimberly Lubell. My husband Peter and I have 3 amazing boys, Charlie, Dylan and Connor. I will be organizing Mini Museum and I’m so excited for the great artists we cover this year!!

Cheri Macy | Co-Mini Museum

My name is Cheri Macy - My husband (Brian) and I have two boys - Dylan (2nd) and Gavin (kinder). We love to travel, spend time outdoors, and support our awesome HTES community. In the past, I have been a room parent but this is my first year as a member of the PTO Board assisting with Mini Museum. I’m excited for another great year ahead!

MEGAN BOYLE | MEMBER AT LARGE

Hi I’m Megan Boyle. My husband Garrett and I have 3 kiddos Georgia (2nd Grade), Grace (Kindergarten) and Grant (2yo). We are all AZ natives and I am a proud CCUSD alumna! We are passionate about serving and supporting our community and HTES. I own my dental practice Dental Studio 101 and understand the delicate balance of being working parents! As a new member on the board I look forward to helping the amazing PTO team further the mission to uplift our school!

Katie Nobel | Member at Large

PTO member at large for the 24/25 school year. This is my fourth year on the PTO, I enjoy supporting HTES and our community. I have one son, Harrison, who is in 5th grade. My husband Eric and I love spending time with friends, trying new restaurants and supporting Harrison in baseball.

Cali Kingston | Social Media

Hi! I am Cali Kingston and I will be doing the social media this year. My husband Jeff and I have 3 boys at HTES with one on the way due in September (Brooks 4th grade, Davis 3rd grade, Jaxson Preschool and Gunnar future stallion strong kiddo) We have been at HTES for the last 5 years and couldn’t be happier with our school. I have been a room mom all 5 years and decided it was finally time to join the PTO. I am very excited to help in anyway I can. I am a Cave Creek native and grew up in this school district since I was in preschool. So it’s pretty rewarding watching my kiddos learn and play in the same schools and sports leagues I did. Our boys live for playing and watching sports, so if you ever need to find us you can catch us at one of their baseball, soccer or football games.
